Chinchilla weathers Europe's economic storm

Laura Chinchilla, the president of Costa Rica, wants to build relations with Europe despite the continent being in the middle of an economic crisis.

Although it is too early to make predictions about the results, Chinchilla is keen on promoting investment in Costa Rica during her current visit to Germany.

At the moment, Chinchilla is in Stuttgart, home to aviation and clean energy companies, both of great interest to Costa Rica.
