Chinese firms protest Panama Metro decision

 

The result of the tender for Line 2 of Panama City’s Metro system has been challenged by the Chinese-led consortium that was one of the losers.

China Harbour and China Railway, along with Spain’s Corsán-Corviam made a formal protest to the judges. A consortium led by Brazil’s Odebrecht won the tender with a bid of $1.8 billion.
