Chinese not interested in Nicaragua canal, says Quijano

 

The administrator of the Panama Canal, Jorge Luis Quijano, Chinese state construction companies “have not interest at all” in financing Nicaragua’s plan for a trans-isthmus canal.

Nicaragua broke ground on the project in December, but so far there’s no sign of any construction, Quijano added.
