Claro launches 4G technology in Colombia

Claro, subsidiary of Mexican telecoms company América Móvil, became the fourth company to launch 4G mobile services in Colombia.

The service will be available in Bogotá, but is expected to be released throughout the country in some 90 days, technical vice president Hugo Salazar said.

Tigo, Movistar and UNE have already made the service available in several cities.
