Closure of textile firm sparks Costa Rica concern

The closure of Costa Rican textile company Compañía Textil Centroamericana has raised concern among other producers in the industry.

Representatives of the industry predict that the closure means less opportunities to create jobs for local production and exports.

The closure of the company uncovers the constant adjustments in an industry already decimated by international competition and local operational costs.
