Coca-Cola Femsa buys Panama dairy and juice company Grupo Industrias Lacteas

One of Coca-Cola largest bottlers, Coca-Cola Femsa said that it has acquired Grupo Industrias Lacteas, a dairy and juice company in Panama.

The companies did not disclose the value of the deal.

Coca-Cola Femsa said the deal allows it to expand it juice-based business and enter the milk and value-added dairy products category, a fast-growing industry in Latin America.
