Tuesday, December 3, 2013

Coca-Cola announced plans to invest $1 billion in Mexico next year, despite a new tax on sugary drinks.

The investment will go towards developing the company's infrastructure, logistics and innovation programs, said spokesperson Patricia Vázquez.

"Our investment rhythm will not slow down, we will continue investing $1 billion each year as we have over the last nine years," Vázquez said.
