Coffee growers in Honduras scale down their projections for income from harvest

The drop in international coffee prices has led growers in Honduras to revise downward their projections for income this year.

Originally, the growers predicted $1.5 billion in earnings this year, but now they are predicting $1.3 billion.

The reference price per quintal in January was $216; now it has dropped to $205. The price in February of last year was $367.
