Colombia aims for $60 billion in exports this year

Friday, December 7, 2012

Colombia will end the year with exports of more than $60 billion, according to an estimate by the country's president Juan Manuel Santos.

This will easily exceed the $50 billion goal that had been set at the beginning of Santos's four-year term.

The new estimate for this year is largely due to the 18 percent increase in exports in the last two months of the year, for the past three years.
