Colombia drops in Global Innovation Index

Colombia dropped eight spots in this year's Global Innovation Index, a list that ranks 143 countries based on their human capital and economic development.
This year, Colombia is at spot number 68 in the ranking made by Cornell University, France's Insead University and the World Intellectual Property Organization.
According to the ranking, the quality of human capital and availability of technology are key to a country's economic growth.
