Colombia fair to be Latin America's fashion Mecca

he big names of fashion and the garment industry in Latin America are expected to feature at this year's Colombiatex textile fair.

The fair has been running for three decades and the upcoming edition will be in Medellín on January 22 through 24. Business of $300 million is expected to be generated, say the organizers, the Colombian trade group Inexmoda.

Among the 22,000 visitors that are expected to attend the event, there will be some 1,800 international buyers.
