Colombia inquires into whether bribes paid to rebels

Colombia's Attorney General's office has issued five arrest warrants as part of an investigation into whether bribes were paid by Italian construction company SICIM to Marxist rebels to guarantee the security of its employees.

The warrants were issued for two SICIM workers and three members of guerrilla group the National Liberation Army, an official from the Attorney General's office said.
