Colombia leads the region in patent procedures

Colombia's Industry and Trade Superintendency is the Latin American leader in patent procedures, according to a study by the World Intellectual Property Organization.
The study showed the Colombian authority takes 34 months to deliver a patent.
In the continent, Colombia is only second to its U.S. counterpart, which takes 5 months less in patent procedures.
