Colombia's Colcap rises thanks to Grupo Sura

Colombian stocks rose Thursday, pushed higher by financial shares, while the peso strengthened against the dollar.

The Colcap index, Colombia's benchmark for local stocks, rose 0.54 percent to end the session.

The gains were led by the preferential shares of Grupo Sura, a financial holding group.
