Colombia seeks businesses' help in peace talks

Thursday, October 31, 2013

The Colombian government's chief negotiator for peace talks with the FARC guerrillas called on the business sector to help the rebels reintegrate into society once they have disarmed.

Humberto De la Calle noted the country's economic sector is on the sidelines of the peace talks.

"Business owners can make commitments, particularly in what is happening in the area of reinsertion into society," he added.
