Colombia social housing sales up 89 percent

Sales of social housing in Colombia, through a program called Vipa, have grown 89 percent.

"In three months since we opened our salesroom, some 18,346 families have joined the program to buy a house," said Housing Minister Luis Felipe Henao Cardona.

He added that the Ministry has selected 130 projects to build almost 58,000 homes across 20 states.
