Colombia to receive $100 million to fight deforestation

Colombia announced that Norway, Germany, and the United Kingdom have pledged $100 million to combat deforestation in the country’s Amazon region.

The participating countries signed the agreement at a conference called “The Forest and Climate Change” that took place amid the Paris Climate Talks.
