Competition gets tougher among Central American airlines

Tourists and business travelers have at leat one new option for air travel in Central America. The newcomer is Wingo, a low-cost airline launched by Copa and based in Colombia.

Meanwhile, the Costa Rican offshoot of Mexico’s Volaris aims to reduce the price of tickets for four destinations in the region toward the end of the year.
