Competition to be unleashed by new Panama Canal

Next year, the widened Panama Canal is due to be opened, a development that is sure to spark competition among l,leading ports of the region.

Already projects are underway to handle the new traffic. Ports in Peru, Colombia and Cuba, among others, are getting ready.
