Contracts gives AES market domination in Panama

Panama’s state power utility, Etesa, awarded a 10-year contract to Gas Natural Atlántico, an affiliate of AES, to supply 350 megawatts between 2018 and 2028.

As a result, AES dominates the electricity in Panama. It has five hydro plants and one thermal plant.
