Copa Airlines expands in South America

Panama's Copa Airlines announced it will increase its weekly flights to Uruguay from seven to 11, aiming to strengthen air connectivity between Uruguay and North America, officials from both countries said.
Copa flies between Carrasco, Uruguay, and Tocumen, Panama, with connections to North and South America, as well as the Caribbean.
The announcement comes a week after the airline announced new weekly routes to Campinas, Brazil and Cayo Santa María, Cuba.
