Copa to launch its own frequent flyer program

Copa Airlines will replace the MileagePlus frequent flyer program it has shared with United Airlines with its own program ConnectMiles.

Pedro Heilbron, chief executive of Copa, said the miles and benefits accrued in the current system may be used on the new platform. The changeover will take pace in May and each traveler must request enrollment in the new system.
