Costa Rica and Colombia in new round of trade talks

The fourth round of negotiations for a free trade agreement between Costa Rica and Colombia began yesterday and will continue until Friday.

The talks are taking place in Costa Rica, and will focus on tariff reduction in goods and the definition of mechanisms that facilitate and promote trade in services and investment between the two countries.

Colombian exports to Costa Rica reached $254 million between January and November 2012.
