Costa Rica and Panama to boost trade

Friday, August 22, 2014

The Governments of Costa Rica and Panama agreed to carry out structural, administrative and operational improvements in order to boost trade at the countries' border area.

The plan includes the elimination of barriers for better transport, but does not affect regulations that limit trade for exporters.

The agreement was reached during the 2014 Business Summit, organized by the Chiriquí chamber of commerce and industries.
