Costa Rica boosted by $1.9 billion in clean energy

Over the next four years, Costa Rica will install an additional 535 megawatts of clean energy.

The investment for these new projects will be of around $1.9 billion.

The aim is to avoid power outages and reduce dependence on oil. The new projects must operate with resources such as wind and water.
