Costa Rica boosts exports of organic produce

Exports of organic products from Costa Rica to European Union countries grew for the fourth consecutive year in 2014.

Figures from the country’s a program showed a total of 12,500 tonnes of products including coffee, bananas and pineapples were exported to the EU, an increase of 4 per cent on 2013 and 18 per cent more than in 2012.
