Costa Rica brings in $2.1 billion in foreign investment

Foreign direct investment in Costa Rica totaled $2.1 billion last year, a decrease of 21 percent compared with 2013, marking the first slowdown in foreign investment in the last six years.

The include investments in new business operations in the country by foreign firms as well as the expansion of existing operations.
