Costa Rica could provide back door for China trade

Thursday, June 14, 2012

Costa Rica could boost Mexican and Colombian exports, by allowing them to re-export to China.

The idea is for Mexican and Colombian products to go through Costa Rica first, so that they can take advantage of the country's tax benefits with China.

This strategy would strengthen sales of metal-mechanical parts, chemicals and non-perishable food for all three countries.
