Costa Rica expects to hit $17 billion export target

The government of Costa Rica is expecting next year's exports to reach $17 billion, local newspaper La República reported.
This year, exports will end with a total of $16.9 billion, and is the third year in a row that the figure exceeds initial predictions from the country's Ministry of Foreign Trade, known as Comex.
Foreign investment to the country this year will total $2.16 billion, most of it invested in the manufacturing and technology sectors.
