Costa Rica exported $4.6 billion in services

Exports of the Costa Rican services sector grew by 11.8 percent last year, compared to 2011.

The figure means Costa Rica exported $4.6 billion, according to data from the foreign trade promotion agency, Procomer.

Information techncology and business services were at the top of the list, with $2.6 billion between the two, which means 47 percent of the country's total services exports.
