Costa Rica exports gain an edge on competitors

It may be too early to predict the future of currencies of other countries, but competitive pressure on Costa Rican exports have been eased.

After months of devaluation, the currencies of Colombia, Mexico and others have strengthened, which is good news for Costa Rican exporters of bananas and pineapples, as well as the tourism industry.
