Costa Rica government thinks again on key highway concession

Rather than use a trust fund, as originally proposed, the government of Costa Rica is evaluating a concession as possibly a better option in order to finance major improvements for the key highway from the capital to Cartago.

The calculations involve comparisons of the basic cost, the likely income from tolls, and the duration of the contract.
