Costa Rica honors geothermal pioneer Mainieri Protti

Costa Rica's state power utility, the ICE, has honoured geothermal pioneer Dr. Alfredo Mainieri Protti naming the Miravalles geothermal field after him.

Protti was a driving force in the geothermal development of Costa Rica.
