Costa Rica is regional technology leader

Costa Rica is the Central American leader in technology, according to Cisco, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

Investments in the country's technology sector are on par with those of larger Latin American economies such as Colombia, Chile and Peru.

Cisco is working with the Costa Rican government on a project aimed at narrowing the technology gap in the country's public education system.
