Costa Rica is the most expensive for airlines

 

Costa Rica is the Central American country with the highest landing fees for airlines, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

Fees in the country are up to $159 higher compared with other airports in the region.

In Costa Rica, airlines pay $481 for landing, use of boarding gates, lighting and parking, while the same operations cost $341 in El Salvador, or $322 in Panama, according to official data.
