Costa Rica looks to alternative economies
Costa Rican businesses will have to look to less traditional markets if they want to increase their exports, Costa Rican paper La República reported.
Countries such as China, Sweden and Ireland showed most growth over the last year, while the United States and Europe are slowly recovering.
In the last 12 months up to June this year, Costa Rican exports dropped 2.3 percent, as a result of a slow performance in Europe and the United States.
