Costa Rica plans three new open-skies agreements

Tuesday, May 8, 2012

Costa Rica is negotiating three new open skies agreements with Qatar, Turkey and China, as well as reviewing an existing agreement with the Netherlands.

These agreements will allow Lacsa, a unit of TACA Airlines, fly to those countries without frequency or passenger restrictions.

In the case of the Netherlands, Costa Rica signed an open sky agreement in 1994, and both countries wish to expand the benefits.
