Costa Rica poised to invest $1.5 billion in highways

Wednesday, April 25, 2012

Costa Rica no longer has excuses for failure to expand and repair its highways. The country now has $1.5 billion for that purpose.

The money comes from banks and international cooperation funds.

The success of the project will, however, depend on how the new transport authorities in charge of the project handle the works, due to start on the 1 of May.
