Costa Rica proposes solutions to key highway

The Government of Costa RIca has proposed to improve a highway to the port of Limón, known as route 32, by approving a $395 million credit through China's Export-Import Bank and hire China Harbour Engineering Company to carry out the project.

The expansion of the highway is urgent and will complement the expansion of the port of Limón, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

But in order for the project to begin, the country's government has yet to approve the credit line.
