Costa Rica’s Juan Santamaría airport named as third best in Latin America

The Airports Council International announced that Juan Santamaría International in Alajuela, northwest of San José, is the third-best airport in Latin America.

The Juan Santamaría was also recognized as the region’s best improved airport.

The top two airports in the region went to Cancun, Mexico and Guayaquil, Ecuador.
