Costa Rica's Liberia airport doubles passengers

The Daniel Oduber International Airport in Liberia, Guanacaste, has more than doubled the number of passengers it handles over the last five years, according to Costa Rica’s civil aviation authorities.

The airport received 755,000 travelers in 2014, representing 17 percent of the country’s total international air passengers, estimated at 4.4 million.
