Costa Rica's national health-service strike is over but issues remain over Seguro Social debt

Following more than 24 hours of continuous negotiations, the two sides to Costa Rica's health-service strike that began last Tuesday came to an end on Saturday.\

Union representatives and officials of the Caja Costarricense del Seguro Social (CCSS) announced an agreement.\
\
Part of the agreement calls for the government to create a commission to study the issue of the debt that CCSS has run up over the years.\
