Costa Rica's Radiográfica Costarricense sees business opportunity in fighting crime

Monday, March 5, 2012

Costa Rican state-owned Radiográfica Costarricense, or Racsa, will take advantage of the country's crime rates by turning it into a business opportunity.

The company signed a deal with Desca, a subsidiary of Spain's Amper, to launch a remote surveillance and security service.

The new service can be contracted by a range of customers, from one company to whole communities.
