Costa Rica’s tourism industry gets off to an encouraging start in first two months

Several indicators of the first two months point to a positive beginning for the year in Costa Rica’s tourism industry.

The numbers of arrivals by air, hotel occupancy rates, and the index of economic activity are all positive.

In January, 14,000 tourists arrived, 10 percent more than in the same month of last year. February was also positive.
