Costa Rica’s TriStar forms Acer smartphone alliance

TriStar, a Costa Rican company, has formed an alliance with computer-maker Acer to sell cellphones in Costa Rica.

The venture sill sell two so´called smartphones.

One, known as the Liquid E, is a direct competitor with the Iphone. The other, Be Touch E130, is likely to attract those who favor Blackberrys.
