Costa Rica seeks to boost cruise ship tourism
Costa Rica's tourism authority, ICT, announced a plan to reactivate cruise tourism in the country.
The Central American nation currently receives some 200 ships each year, but from 2008 to 2013, the arrival of cruise ships dropped by 30 percent.
Part of the plan is to create a cruise committee, which aims to promote the sector, train tourism workers and improve related services and infrastructure.
