Costa Rica sees improved exports in 2014

Costa Rican exports are expected to grow next year, but on the prospect that its competitiveness levels improve, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

Several of the country's main trade partners are showing signs of improvement in their economies, such as Germany, the UK and Ireland.

In order to improve exports, the Government is working to expand into other markets, including Asia and South America, in an effort to depend less on more traditional markets.
