Costa Rica simplifies process for creating companies

The Costa Rican national registry is set to start operating next week an electronic system for creating and registering companies.

The new system will allow people to carry out all legal processes required in creating a company in one single electronic site.

The initiative, called CrearEmpresa, also allows businesses to digitalize documents and certify ownership of assets.
