Costa Rica stands out in medical tourism

Costa Rica has become one of the most attractive destinations for medical tourism in Latin America, Costa Rican daily La República reported.
The country is steadily approaching the same levels as the region's leaders, Colombia, Mexico and Brazil, due to its certified medical centers, affordable prices and location.
Eighty-three percent of medical tourists are from the United States, while 11 percent are Canadian.
