Costa Rica tipped as Central American data-center hub

Costa Rica could be a leader within the international technological sector in providing data-center support for companies such as Microsoft and Amazon, says Alexander Monestel, head of Data Center Consultores.

The geographical location, favorable climate and a large number of skilled tech professionals, are the country’s main advantages. Costa Rica could play a role in Central America to that of Ireland in Europe, Monestel added.
